There are many fine local and European style restaurants within a 10
minute walk in addition to the on site PORTOFINO RESTAURANT surrounding
a beach front waterfall and swimming pool.
Facilities and Amenities
The waterfront resort overlooks a white sand beach and crystal clear
waters that have snorkeling and SCUBA diving 40 meters from the waters
edge. There are five scuba diving facilities and a fully equipped gym
within 200 meters of the site.Exotic birds reside near a cascading fresh
waterfall - swimming pool, where a restaurant patron may enjoy a special
rum drink and tostadas, quesodillas, or Huevos Rancheros while overlooking
the beauty of a reflected sunset and moon rise over Verde Island across
the bay.
How to get there?
By automobile or bus from Manila...a 2 to 3 hour trip to Batangas City
Pier...you may take the SiKat (First Class Air Con) Bus each morning
at 9:00 am from Centerpoint Hotel in Ermita...this connects with the
SiKat Ferry at the Batangas Pier for a 2 hour ride to Puerto Galera
Pier....round trip per person ro Puerto Galera is PhP 700. At Puerto
Galera Pier you may take any one of a number of Banca's to Small La
Laguna Beach (charge is PhP 150 per boat load) this is a 15 minute boat
ride directly to the Portofino Beach Resort.
Alternatively, you may take a private auto or bus to Batangas City
Pier and connect with many boats which go dirctly to Sabang Beach (which
is a 10 minute walk to PORTOFINO) or to Puerto Galera...a short boat
ride away.
